It is capable to irrigate up to 2 hectares of greenhouse complexes at the same time. The irrigation unit also can be used for irrigation of a 10-hectare greenhouse complex. It is characterized by high reliability and accuracy in saving of the specified parameters.  This irrigation unit is equipped with the best components from the leading world brands. The double reserve is applied for strategically important elements. There are 2 watering pumps and 2 EC and pH-sensors in each unit.

This irrigation unit is designed for plant irrigating with a balanced nutrient solution, which is prepared automatically by continuous mixing of fertilizers and water. Many years of experience working on equipment allowed to produce the most reliable system that meets the modern requirements for irrigation in greenhouse complexes. The irrigation unit is equipped with an industrial computer-controller. Its functionality allows the controlling up to 48 irrigation valves, which can be divided into 48 groups. Each group can have its own solution preparation formula and individual irrigating plan.

The irrigation units for farmers are produced in the range of manufactured professional equipment for industrial greenhouses. The farmers in this case are so-called specialists owning greenhouses of up to 5000 m2. These irrigation units provide fully high-quality automatic irrigation of any plants in greenhouses, they have small dimensions, but   great functionality. Such equipment allows farmers to compete in yields with large greenhouse complexes. These irrigation units are not different from professional equipment in terms of functionality. The irrigation unit 8m3/h is designed for automatic preparation of nutrient solution, planning and carrying out drip irrigation in greenhouses with an area of up to 0.5 hectares.
     
 

IRRIGATION UNIT

The irrigation unit 4 m3/h is intended for farmer greenhouses of up to 3000 m2. Such equipment helps farmers to achieve higher yields and save time and money on the purchase of fertilizers. This unit has only one difference in capacity relative to irrigation units of higher capacity.   The use of such equipment allows to save fertilizers, to receive strictly dosed irrigation for each plant with guaranteed indicators of electrical conductivity and acidity of nutrient solution, to increase working efficiency and as a result to improve the quality and quantity of products. The software capabilities of the system allow you to start irrigation for several kinds of influences: classically is depending of time, as well as of solar radiation, temperature, air humidity or substrate, etc. The computer-controlled system for dosing liquid mineral fertilizers provides the preparation of solutions with precisely maintained nutrient concentrations.

PREPERATION UNIT

Today a lots of fertilizers used in Russian greenhouse complexes is supplied as a dry substance. It is necessary to prepare a concentrated stock solution from fertilizers for modern automated irrigation systems. The process of growth solution preparing provides a thorough dissolution of fertilizers in water in the proportion calculated by the agronomist. At first glance, this issue is not very important, but it deserves serious attention. This is due to the fact, that each tank with a growth solution (not less than two tanks) contains a combination of several fertilizers and a poor-quality dissolution of one or all of the components disrupts the balance of nutrients calculated by the agronomist. This uniquely leads to negative consequences affecting plants. The general procedure for preparation of growth solutions is as follows: mineral fertilizers should be mixed with water, the resulting solution must be saved for a certain time, after that it can be used for automatic irrigation.

WATER TREATMENT UNIT WITH RECIRCULATION AND FILTRATION OF 100 m3/h

Many agronomists have faced the problem of changing the pH level during irrigation process, when the irrigation unit prepares the solution in accordance with the acidity parameter setting, but the drip irrigation system has be filling with the solution having a pH level higher than the set value on 0.5-1.0. We usually encounter this problem because of bicarbonates contained in the water. Their negative effect is to neutralize the acid during the movement through the pipes, which is why a pH change occurs from under the drip irrigation system. The company "LABORATORY OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS" produces special equipment intended for preliminary stabilization of water in accordance with pH. This equipment is designed to reduce the amount of bicarbonate by means of acid feeding in the water. The difference from the irrigation unit lies in the fact, that the equipment is installed before the water storage tank, this way the ion exchange processes start  in the water storage tank and bicarbonates quantity are reduced neutralizing the added acid. This way prepared water is pH stable fed to the irrigation unit and if it necessary, the acidity amend slightly and the ready-made working solution is supplied to the greenhouse.  By the agronomist adjusted pH of the solution is guaranteed to come under the plants. The pH stabilizer is equipped with a controller that completely monitors the process. Dual pH control reduces the chance of error. The water treatment unit is a multifunctional in addition to the task of the acidity stabilizing, that allows you to control all the processes of preparing irrigation water. Our controller is installed on the unit, it has the ability to control filtration with automatic washing and water heating and also it controls the filling of intermediate storage tanks. The function of water recirculation makes it possible to bring the characteristics of irrigation water to the parameters adjusted by specialists.

The main ones are water transparency, low salt and minerals content, complete absence of impurities and foreign inclusions. Water from natural reservoirs is used in most cases for agricultural drip irrigation and other watering systems.  In these cases it is necessary to filter the water carefully from entering of suspended particles and of all sorts of mechanical debris. Gravel-sand filters of automatic or manual control are widely applied for such filtration in combination with cartridge systems of filtration. Our company is developing and producing the water filtration units with the use of gravel-sand filters and disk filters. Gravel-sand filters of any capacity filter water from entering of impurities and suspensions, which can  not been cleaned by mesh filters and plate filters. This unit is made on a stainless frame as an independent module and it can be integrated easily into existing systems as well as into new projects.

WATER HEATING UNIT

15-100 m3/h

Irrigation requirements to water temperature vary from 18˚C to 22˚C depending on the crop and the growth phase of plants.  The source of irrigation water is most often wells having a temperature of 3˚C - 7˚C above zero. Therefore the water heating systems are usually used in automatic irrigation systems. Our company offers local automatic water heating systems based on plate heat exchangers. Functionalities allow the agronomist to set an individual temperature for each irrigated crop, even if they have irrigated by a single irrigation unit. Temperature control is carried out via a three-way mixing valve and can be carried out both from an irrigation unit, from a water treatment unit and autonomously. An additional advantage is a gate on the side of the heating artery, which closes at the end of water consumption. This avoids the occurrence of "temperature plug" inside the heat exchanger. 
 
   
   

PUMPING UNIT 

The pumping unit of water supply for greenhouse complexes produced by LABORATORY OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS is manufactured as a serial product in the form of a ready-to-use assembly consisting of pumping equipment, control system, stop valves, piping system (collectors), control and measurement devices mounted on a common base.The pumping units of water supply of LABORATORY OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS are designed to increase pressure, maintain a constant pressure level or create the necessary pressure drop. They are effectively used in industrial complex systems for irrigation, in sprinkler systems and drip irrigation installations. The unit provides constant pressure for the technological process and frees staff from the need to turn on the water pump. It allows to fill  water to the acid storage tank, to the growth solution preparation unit, or to make reverse washing of the filtration unit  regardless of the state of the irrigation unit. 
 
   
 

WATER SUPPLY UNIT 90m³/h (ULTRA CLIMA)

For today the technology of vegetable production is not standing still and a fifth generation has replaced it as an alternative to fourth-generation greenhouses. The fifth-generation greenhouse, the so-called "semi-closed greenhouse" created using Ultra Clima technology, retains all the advantages of Venlo-type greenhouses, but in many respects surpasses it in a number of parameters. The greenhouse with Ultra Clima technology is fitted along the entire length by adiabatic panels, which receive water. Water evaporating takes away some of the energy and the cooled air passes through special pipes into the greenhouse. Practical use of such a cooling system in the greenhouse has shown that it is possible to reduce the temperature in the greenhouse up to 10 ° C, which has a beneficial effect on plants and there is no loss of yield. For this purpose, our specialists, the design department and the R&D department have specially developed the water supply unit for cooling the air temperature inside the greenhouse.
     
   

 

 

THERMAL DISINFECTOR 20 m3/h

The thermal disinfector is specially designed for greenhouse complexes. Thermal sterilization is the most effective way of drainage cleaning. The principle of the disinfector is to heat the drainage water to a temperature of 85˚-95˚ and hold it at this temperature for up to 180 seconds, then the drainage is cooled to a temperature close to the original heating the incoming water. Such a long high-temperature treatment allows 99.5% to destroy harmful bacteria, fungi and viruses.      
Basically heating of drainage water implemented with the help of greenhouse heating systems, it makes the process of disinfection very economical. In case of required water temperature lack of the heat transfer unit, the disinfector is equipped with its own electric heater, which can work as in parallel with the heat network providing only the required temperature addition and separately taking the entire heating process by itself.  Acid is automatically added to the drainage water for prevention against destruction of the solution structure and also for the avoidance of the calcification inside of the disinfector. All parameters of the technological process are controlled by means of PC.
      
The advantageous system difference from imported analogues is concluded in the intellectual controlling function of the drainage water consumption. This function allows you to realize the fact, that drainage disinfection is saving for 3 minutes at 85˚, but at 95 ˚ only for 90 seconds. Therefore, when the disinfection temperature for various reasons exceeds a minimum of 85˚ the system automatically increases the drainage water consumption thereby accelerating the saving process.  In addition, the system determines independently the temperature of the heating medium and if it is necessary, turns on its own electric boiler.

UV DISINFECTOR 1-10 m3/h

Today the disinfection by means of ultraviolet irradiation is widespread in the world along with the thermal disinfection. The advantage of this method is  low energy intensity. The operation principle is to pass the UV radiation produced by special lamps through the water. UV radiation with a wavelength with bactericidal effect (253.7 nm) penetrates through the cell walls of microorganisms carried by water and is absorbed by DNA in the genetic chain, as a result, the process of microorganism production ceases. The sterilization unit is designed specifically for the disinfection of drainage irrigation water. It is equipped with low-pressure lamps from the German company UV-Technik, as the most economical and constructively convenient lamps for using precisely in greenhouse complexes. The functionality allows  to set the agronomist dose of irradiation solution in the range of 50 mJ / cm2 (selective disinfection  e.g. for salad complexes) to 250 mJ / cm (complete disinfection). During operation process the UV-lamp capacity is measured by a sensor mounted on the external surface of the disinfection unit. On the basis of this data the computer system automatically calculates the time it takes to obtain a given dose of UV- radiation and adjusts system capacity.

Наряду с термической дезинфекцией в мире широко распространена дезинфекция с помощью ультрафиолетового облучения. Дезинфектор содержит 9 УФ ламп низкого давления, помещенных в один реактор. Турбулентный поток, создаваемый специальным устройством, гарантирует многократное прохождение каждой частицы воды вокруг УФ ламп. Так же дезинфектор снабжен системой автоматики, которая позволяет анализировать загрязненность ламп и производить их автоматическую очистку.

Данное устройство предназначено для подачи воды в растворный узел, а также смешения чистой поливной воды с очищенными дренажными водами. Смешение производиться в точно заданных пропорциях и управляется автоматически. Пуск насоса осуществляется частотным регулятором, что обеспечивает плавность работы и исключает гидравлические удары.

 
   

DRAINAGE UNIT

(FLOWING, 1-2 CHANNELS) 

Maximum yields require the strict observance and the guaranteed control over the cultivation technology. One of the most important monitoring parameters is the drainage obtained during irrigation. LiS  has developed a highly accurate system for the selection and measurement of drainage parameters, the FMD.       
The functionality of the system involves start and end time registration of the drainage supply, measuring the drainage volume, EC and pH, percentage (%) of drainage from the total irrigation volume. The availability of such data will allow the most accurate calculation of irrigation rates, prevent salinization of the substrate, and correct the start time of the first irrigation. The collected information is archived and stored in the computer memory for a long period of time, which makes it possible to return to the analysis of the data at any time.
           A distinctive feature of this system is a control over the drainage solution not from one slab, but from an entire bed (from 120 plants). This method of control allows you to obtain a general picture of the entire greenhouse.
 
   
   

SCALES FOR HUMIDITY MEASURING

The so called scales "Weight slabs" designed by LABORATORY OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS today are the most reliable and fast method for determining the humidity content.The scales are intended for continuous control of plant weight, drainage water parameters and also plant's vital activity parameters in industrial greenhouses. Installation is made of acid-proof and durable materials (stainless steel and PVC). The measuring electronics are installed in waterproof enclosures based on ARM controllers.The parameters measured by this scales can be used to analyze the efficiency of the irrigation and microclimate system, to adjust the irrigation strategy and also to estimate the effectiveness of the staff activity. These  scales  automatically allow continuous monitoring of:- the slab weight;- water saturation of the substrate;- electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature at the collection point of drainage; - - drainage volume;- drainage percent after watering and a day; - irrigation solution volume and drainage from the plant.
